The Jain family has invested a further £2.1million in Avocet Hardware taking the total invested since it bought the Brighouse-based company out of administration in February 2012 to £10.6million.
Avocet unlocks ABS sales potential with new appointment
Brighouse-based Avocet Hardware has appointed Raymond Pearce as head of UK sales for its ABS snap-secure lock system.
The ABS lock, which was the first of its type to be accredited to the new British Standard TS007 (3-star) and is the only retro-fit euro cylinder that has passed the SS312 Sold Secure Diamond standard, is Avocet's response to the rise in lock-snapping across the UK.

The ABS lock is currently the highest accredited euro cylinder on the market and the only retro-fit lock to have passed the Sold Secure Diamond standard.
